Privacy Policy

• Account information via Google OAuth. When you sign in, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture (the openid, email, and profile scopes). We do not receive your Google password.
• Calendar data (optional). If you explicitly connect Google Calendar, we access read-only event data (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events.readonly) solely to power the scheduling features you enable. You can disconnect this at any time from your Google Account settings.
• User Content. Reviews, submissions, and other content you post to the Service.
• Usage data. Pages visited, links clicked, referrer, and similar interaction data, collected via analytics tooling (see “Analytics” below).

• To operate, maintain, and improve the Service (e.g., authenticating you, displaying your reviews).
• To power features you explicitly enable, such as calendar-aware scheduling context.
• To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security incidents, and violations of our Terms.
• To communicate with you about the Service, including support requests you initiate.
• To understand aggregate usage of the Service so we can improve it.

Rocketplace’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We only use Google Calendar data to provide or improve user-facing features that you have explicitly requested. We do not use Google user data to serve advertisements, and we do not sell Google user data to third parties. Human access to Google user data is restricted to what is necessary for security purposes, to comply with applicable law, or with your consent.

We use Yandex Metrika to understand how visitors use the Service, including page views, click patterns, and session behavior. This data is used in aggregate to improve the Service and is not used to make decisions about individual users.

• Public content. Reviews and other User Content you choose to publish are visible to other users of the Service as described in our Terms of Service.
• Service providers. We share information with vendors who process it on our behalf (e.g., hosting, analytics), under contractual confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
• Legal & safety. We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Rocketplace, our users, or the public.
• Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
• We do not sell your personal information.

We retain account information and User Content for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. We retain Google Calendar data only as long as necessary to power the feature you enabled it for, and delete it upon disconnection or account deletion. We may retain limited information after account deletion where required for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes.

• Access & deletion. You may request a copy of, or deletion of, your personal information by contacting us (see “Contact” below).
• Revoke Google access. You can revoke the Service’s access to your Google account at any time from your Google Account permissions page.
• Regional privacy rights. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights (e.g., under the GDPR or CCPA) to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal information. Contact us to exercise these rights.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, if higher), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

We are based in the United States and may process and store information in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of your information to these locations, which may have data protection laws different from those in your jurisdiction.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide reasonable notice (e.g., an in-product notice) and update the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
